Is-sinjal għal ĠERŻI JINQAFEL għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal ĠERŻI bl-idejn li jibdew miftuħin forma ta’ 5 u jitilgħu fil-ġnub livell mar-ras. Jingħalqu f’ponn huma hu neżlin waqt li r-ras titbaxxa kemm kemm. L-idejn ikompli neżlin sal-qadd bħallikieku qed jintlibes ġerżi mir-ras. (ii) Imbagħad, l-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ T bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u jinżlu, waħda ’l fuq mill-oħra, minn taħt l-għonq sal-qadd.
The sign for ZIP UP CARDIGAN has two parts. (i) The first part is the sign for JUMPER made with the hands starting in the shape of 5. They move up to head level at the sides and close into fist shape as they move down whilst the head bends down a little. The hands continue down to waist level as though pulling a jumper over their heads. (ii) Then, the hands take the shape of T with palms facing inwards and move down, one above the other, from below neck level to the waist.
